Job summary

Det-Tronics, a Spectrum Safety Solutions portfolio company in Minneapolis, seeks a Systems Engineer to translate customer needs into system requirements and architectures for life-safety products. You will collaborate with electrical, software/firmware, mechanical, and test engineers across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include defining requirements for hardware, software/firmware, and mechanics, conducting risk analyses, and ensuring traceability from concept to validation while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience developing or managing requirements for electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage requirements for systems including hardware, software/firmware, and mechanical components.
• Contribute to system architecture development and supporting analyses.
• Support systems engineering activities across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
