Job summary
Det-Tronics, a global leader in industrial life safety, seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to own architecture and requirements through verification for new and sustaining products. You will act as technical lead, ensuring traceability and cross-functional alignment with customers and teams across hardware, software, and firmware domains.
You will shape risk analyses, drive lifecycle processes, and contribute to strategic product direction in a fast-growing, PE-backed environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of professional work experience.
- 2+ years direct experience in requirements management and with electromechanical products.
- Systems engineer role in at least one project that involved embedded software (firmware).
Responsibilities
- Capture, derive, and write requirements and associated rationale for multi-domain systems.
- Document architectures and system level simulations and analyses.
- Technical project lead for requirements and process definition through product lifecycle.
- Define design architectures and translate to system/subsystem definitions.
