Det-Tronics, a global leader in industrial life safety, seeks a Systems Engineer to translate customer and product needs into clear technical requirements and support verification and validation activities. You will collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams while growing your expertise.

The role emphasizes requirements development, risk analysis, and cross-functional design reviews in a rigorous product development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 1+ year hands-on experience developing or managing requirements for electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage requirements for systems with hardware, software/firmware, and mechanical components.
• Contribute to system architecture development and document supporting simulations and analyses.
• Support systems engineering activities for new and existing products across the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to concept generation and system and subsystem designs supporting reliability, safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
• Use requirements management tools to maintain traceability between requirements and verification/test cases.
