Job summary

Davidson Technologies, Inc. in Colorado Springs seeks a Mid-level Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors department, focusing on requirements, architectures, modeling and test of Ground-Based Radar systems.

You will develop preliminary and detailed requirements, work with Cameo models, test cases, and participate in reviews, collaborating with a distributed team to deliver advanced radar solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline.
• 2-4 years' experience in an engineering role with programming in MATLAB, C or C++; knowledge of radars/sensors and system integration.
• Experience with integration or test activities for hardware or software products.
• Experience with DOORS or related database.
• Experience in Cameo.
• Experience leading small teams supporting complex system integration and/or test events.
• Early Warning Radar (EWR) hardware and/or software experience.

Responsibilities

• Development of preliminary and detailed (modified) requirements for both new and existing system functionality.
• Development of subsystem and component level requirements similar to system level.
• Test case development for developed requirements including parameterization of design space and corner cases.
• Participation in Systems Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
• Investigation of requirements issues.
• Development of subsystem and component level models in Cameo for requirements.
• Development of scenarios and other test case inputs for developed requirements.
• Presentation of requirements and artifacts at reviews and closure of issues.
