Job summary

Davidson is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to lead missile defense radar systems development and integration. The role focuses on requirements generation, system architecture, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver advanced radar solutions for DoD programs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in complex system integration and test, active DoD Secret clearance, and deep expertise in MATLAB, DOORS, and model-based engineering with Cameo.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline.
• 10+ years in engineering roles with system integration and/or test of complex DoD systems.
• Experience with MATLAB and DOORS.
• Leadership as a Complex System Integration and/or Complex System Test Lead.
• Excellent ability to present technical information to leaders or customers.
• Expert knowledge in Systems Engineering and integration/test of large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and detailed requirements for new and existing system functionality.
• Develop subsystem and component level requirements similar to system level.
• Test case development for developed requirements including parameterization of design space and corner cases.
• Participation in Systems Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
• Investigation of requirements issues.
• Development of subsystem and component level models in Cameo for requirements.
• Development of scenarios and other test case inputs for developed requirements.
• Presentation of requirements and associated artifacts at reviews and closure of issues.
