Job summary

Davidson is seeking an Entry-Level Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Missile Defense Sensors department. You will help develop and analyze system requirements, design architectures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver advanced radar solutions.

The role emphasizes requirements development, modeling, test case creation, and participation in reviews, with a focus on Ground-Based Radar systems and integration activities.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline.
• 0-2 years' experience in an engineering role with programming in MATLAB, Java, Python, C or C++.
• Can work independently; Provides assistance to less experienced engineers.
• Experience working with integration or test activities for hardware or software products.
• Experience with DOORS or related database.
• Experience in Cameo.
• Experience leading small teams supporting complex system integration and/or test events.
• Early Warning Radar (EWR) Hardware and/or Software experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and detailed (modified) requirements for new and existing system functionality.
• Develop subsystem and component level requirements similar to system level.
• Create test cases for developed requirements including parameterization of design space and corner cases.
• Participate in Systems Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
• Investigate requirements issues and propose solutions.
• Develop subsystem and component models in Cameo for requirements.
• Create scenarios and test inputs for developed requirements.
• Present requirements artifacts at reviews and close issues per the SEMP process.
