Job summary

Leidos Inc in San Diego, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Intelligence Organization, supporting MVMC seams and ITSM initiatives. You'll install, monitor, and troubleshoot operating systems, software, hardware, and IT infrastructure, and help populate the project backlog for Agile teams.

U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance are required, with experience documenting SOPs and knowledge of programming languages (C++, Visual Basic, Java, Python, HTML/CSS, SQL, Java).

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and DoD Secret Clearance.
• Specialized experience in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution.
• Experience in documenting processes and procedures and creating SOPs.
• Knowledge of common programming languages, such as C++, Visual Basic, Java, or similar.
• Experience with system administrative work, excellent technical skills, and familiarity with common programming languages (HTML/CSS, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Java).

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and troubleshoot operating systems, software, hardware, and other IT infrastructure.
• Participate in program increment planning and Agile team activities; help populate project backlog.
• Define test procedures and acceptance criteria; collaborate with other Systems Engineers.
• Develop technical solutions to support ITSM and SE activities for enterprise design and operations.
• Coordinate with ITSM SMIT team on root cause analysis and ongoing stability.
