Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a System Engineer to blend requirements management with hands-on engineering. You will manage requirements using JIRA, support system design tasks, and contribute to deliverable documentation.

The role requires a DoD SECRET clearance, a U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work in an Agile environment. You will interact with software, cyber, and hardware teams to ensure a robust system solution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college.
  • DoD SECRET clearance eligibility (U.S. Citizen).
  • Proactive/self-starter; task driven.
  • Team player with ownership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support complex interface definition across software, cyber, hardware, and other subsystems.
  • Prepare, organize, and attend government design reviews (CDR-like events).
  • Drive TBD/TBR burndown, including coordinating with multi-discipline owners and tracking to closure in JIRA.
  • Develop and maintain MBSE models using Cameo, capturing system behaviors and interfaces.
  • Support requirements development and documentation, including updates to specifications and ICDs.
  • Operate within an Agile, PI-based execution model and coordinate with SE leadership.
