Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Systems Engineer/Architect to join the submarine imaging program team. You will work on requirements, architecture, interfaces, and verification plans for software and hardware baselines within a multidisciplinary group.

The role emphasizes translating customer needs into design, supporting milestone reviews, and guiding modernization efforts using systems engineering best practices. A DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline; 5+ years of related experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience as systems engineer/architect on complex products or solutions with custom software.

Responsibilities

Identify and establish technical solutions with cross-discipline teams.
Support AGILE development including architecture spikes and evaluation.
Model systems using industry tools (e.g., Cameo).
Create and maintain system design and interface documents and software/hardware designs.
Translate customer requirements into system designs and support milestone reviews.
