Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 3 to join our team on site. The role focuses on documenting requirements, creating or updating ICDs, and supporting system modeling and simulations to evaluate performance.

You will participate in design reviews, monitor technical issues, and assist with test activities, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across subsystems and meeting program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work on site in Chandler, AZ.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of requirements documentation.
• Create or update interface control documents (ICDs).
• Contribute to system modeling and simulation activities to assess performance.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Track technical issues.
• Support test efforts, including test set‑up, execution, and pre‑/post‑test analysis.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across subsystems and help identify potential risks.
• Ensure the system meets program specifications and milestones.
