Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 3 to join our team on site. The role focuses on documenting requirements, creating or updating ICDs, and supporting system modeling and simulations to evaluate performance.

You will participate in design reviews, monitor technical issues, and assist with test activities, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across subsystems and meeting program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work on site in Chandler, AZ.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

The system engineer may also participate in design reviews, help track technical issues, support test efforts such as test set‑up, execution, and pre‑/post‑test analysis, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across subsystems.

Compensation & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 – $147,600.00. The range is a general guideline; base salary offers depend on scope, responsibilities, and candidate experience. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and for certain positions, long‑term incentives.
