Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3/4 to join the Marine Systems team at Cape Canaveral, FL. You will develop requirements, perform system integration, and support verification, validation, and reviews across multiple Navy platforms.

The role requires reading technical drawings, managing interfaces, and applying MBSE concepts. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance are required. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with requirements and interface management.
• Familiarity with system drawings and documents (ICDs, System/Subsystem Specifications, VCRM).
• Experience with system engineering tools such as IBM Rational DOORS.
• MBE/MBSE concepts and tools familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability analyses for total systems.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Update system/sub-system specifications and DOORS artifacts.
• Coordinate internal and external reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR).
• Support creation of Model Based System Engineering products.
