Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to join the Marine Systems team in support of launcher hardware for Navy platforms. You will develop requirements, perform analyses, and support reviews from SRR through TRR, while using DOORS and MBSE methods.

The role requires a STEM degree with 6–8 years of experience, a US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Competitive salary, benefits, and overtime possibilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with required experience
• Experience reading technical drawings and requirements management
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS and MBSE concepts

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify system requirements and risk analyses for total systems
• Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specs
• Maintain DOORS documents including VCRM and traceability
• Coordinate reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR)
• Create MBSE products and system behavioral models
