Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Business Infrastructure Services team to design, install, and maintain core infrastructure within our Integration Center (lab) environments. You will expand your knowledge through formal and self-directed training while collaborating with cross-functional IT resources.

The role focuses on managing VMware, automation, and on-site support, with opportunities to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience managing a VMware environment.
• At least 3 years of experience building automation with tools such as: PowerShell, Python, Puppet, Ansible, BASH.
• At least 5 years of experience managing Windows Server and Linux Server Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

• VxRail
• Manage existing configuration management and automation
• Familiar with VMware ESXi, Windows Server (AD, DHCP, File Share, Terminal Services), and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Able to automate IaaS, PaaS technologies
• Provide on-call support per the published schedule
