Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a Network Engineer for the Business Infrastructure Services team, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role based on performance. You will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure supporting WWT's NAIC warehouse operations while collaborating with cross-functional IT resources.

Key responsibilities include Cisco devices, routing, wireless networks, security, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of network administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and network administration experience.
• CCNA certification; active pursuit of CCNP preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco or equivalent enterprise firewall platforms.
• Familiarity with zero trust principles, network segmentation design, and IDS/IPS tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, test, and maintain Cisco networking equipment across data center, remote site, and cloud environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols and LAN technologies including BGP, EIGRP, VPC, LACP, and STP.
• Develop and maintain network automation processes using Python or similar tools; create and maintain documentation.
