Job summary

Service Wire Company in Culloden, WV seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network and server infrastructure supporting manufacturing processes. You will work with MSPs and internal teams to ensure security, reliability, and scalability.

The role requires 3–5 years in network and server engineering, hands-on experience with VMware/VSphere, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years in network and server engineering or similar role.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/VCP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with VMware/VSphere in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN networks.
• Configure and manage physical and virtual servers and storage.
• Monitor performance; troubleshoot and upgrade systems.
• Manage virtualization platforms and high-availability.
• Implement security: firewalls, VPNs, IDS.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with MSP and teams.
