Blue Origin seeks a Systems Engineer III, Test Engineering to lead verification and validation efforts for complex aerospace systems in a hands-on testing environment. The role emphasizes building and maintaining test facilities, automating procedures, and presenting findings to customers. On-site, full-time position with potential travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in a test engineering or systems engineering role.
• Proven experience with developing and executing test plans and procedures.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles: requirements, verification, validation.
• Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for system-level verification and validation.
• Design, build, and maintain test facilities, equipment, and software.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with design and systems engineers to ensure verifiability and complete coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
• Prepare and present test reports to internal and external customers.
• Automate test procedures to improve efficiency and repeatability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system design to improve testability.
