This role requires 5+ years in electrical test and a U.S.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical test, system integration and test, or hardware verification in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics.
  • Experience leading electrical test campaigns end-to-end: procedure development, execution, anomaly disposition, and formal test reporting.
  • Proficiency with electrical test equipment and nonconformance processes.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or otherwise eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and lead electrical interface checks, continuity/isolation tests, and power bus verification campaigns; manage execution from test readiness through formal report closeout.
  • Perform timing and latency characterization across all hardware interfaces; verify data bus operation: CAN, SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, RS-422, and discrete I/O.
  • Conduct fault injection tests; capture results against defined pass/fail criteria and drive anomaly disposition through closure.
  • Own and maintain electrical test procedures from development through formal review, release, and post-test red‑line incorporation.
  • Author formal test reports; support root cause analysis for test failures and escaped defects.
  • Serve as production liaison: develop training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to production test engineers covering electrical verification techniques and common failure modes.
  • Identify DFT improvements and provide actionable feedback to design and manufacturing engineering.
  • Mentor Electrical Test Engineer I and II team members; review their procedures and test reports.
  • Coordinate with subsystem engineers on test objectives, success criteria, and design-for-test requirements.
  • Support formal acceptance test planning and customer witness test preparation.
