SEACORP is seeking a Systems Engineer III in Newport, RI to provide engineering support for submarine systems including the Combat Control System and Tomahawk Weapon System. This role involves system design, integration, and troubleshooting.

Systems Engineer III
SEACORP has immediate full-time openings for recently separated submarine officers who will provide support as Systems Engineers in Newport, RI. In these positions, candidates will provide system design, integration and test, and operational support for 3rd Party Targeting, BYG-1 Combat Control System, Common Submarine Radio Room and the Tomahawk Weapon System on all submarine classes. The primary office location is located in Newport, Rhode Island supporting labs at NUWC Newport but may include travel to support events onboard submarines both dockside and underway, and at shore sites at different theatres.

Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of < 40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
