SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Submarine Radiomen (ITS/ITR).
SEACORP has immediate full-time openings for recently separated radiomen (ITS/ITR) who will provide support as Systems Engineers in Newport, RI. In these positions, candidates will provide system design, integration and test, and operational support for the common submarine radio room on all submarine classes. The primary office location is located in Newport, Rhode Island supporting labs at NUWC Newport but may include travel to support events onboard submarines both dockside and underway, and at shore sites at different theatres.
All SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Office & Computer Laboratories – sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting. Aboard Vessel – standing and walking for extended periods of time. High probability of working in confined spaces where movement is restricted; movement through narrow passageways and hatches. Significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools. Occasional lifting <40 lbs. Daily use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as the viewing of computer screens. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, lying prone, and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in very consistent environmental conditions for temperature and lighting, HVAC. Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes, safety glasses and flashlight required; hearing protection and hard hat recommended.
