Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Unmanned Systems (UxS) is seeking a Systems engineer for its programs in Pocasset, MA. You will contribute to the technical planning, integration, verification and validation, and supportability analyses for autonomous underwater and unmanned surface vessels.

Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications and ensuring performance, cost, and manufacturability are met.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (#LI-MH1)

Responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyzes are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Translates customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
