Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Uncrewed Systems (UxS) seeks an experienced Technician to manufacture and test electro-mechanical assemblies for autonomous vehicles and supporting equipment per drawings. You will build to specifications and verify performance with test instruments.

Responsibilities include assembly, testing, debugging with engineering, reading schematics, setting up equipment, and basic soldering. A government clearance is required.

Qualifications

• AA Degree in related discipline + 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Familiar with reading diagnostic data and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, assembly, and test of new systems vehicles and auxiliary equipment from work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting with engineering and software development to identify and correct system level problems.
• Read and understand diagnostic data and technical schematics.
• Set up and use test equipment including oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Perform basic soldering and troubleshoot PWBA/Modules to support Master Production Schedule.
• Discuss technical problems with Engineering.
