Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a System Engineer 5 to support autonomous vessels and related equipment. You will assist in detailed design, integration, testing, and verification of new unmanned systems, with emphasis on UUVs and USVs, working with customers and field teams in Pocasset, MA.

Qualifications

15 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
13 years relevant experience with a Master's in related field.
10 years relevant experience with a PhD or JD in related field.
Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, and sustaining UUVs and related systems.

Responsibilities

Perform system integration, verification and validation for UUV systems.
Conduct analyses across all phases of the system lifecycle.
Translate customer or product requirements into system solutions within tech, schedule and cost constraints.
Lead development and maintenance of system engineering artifacts and models.
