Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development and operations of New Glenn. You will work across subsystems, support system engineering processes, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams to arrive at technical system solutions.

Applicants should have a B.S. in engineering and 2+ years of experience, with strong documentation and communication skills; knowledge of DOORS Next Gen is a plus for verification and validation activities.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial engineering or similar.
• 2+ years of experience with system engineering principles and processes throughout various phases of the design lifecycle.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and operations of New Glenn and work across subsystems to achieve integrated solutions.
• Develop and implement system engineering processes for the program; ensure consistent implementations across tiers.
• Engage in requirements definition, validation, verification, and traceability using tools like DOORS Next Gen; participate in gated reviews.
• Create health metrics and tracking to major milestones to monitor program health.
