Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to support New Glenn across the SE lifecycle. You will work with multi-discipline teams to define requirements, perform analyses, and ensure verification plans align with program goals.

Candidates should have 5+ years in systems engineering, strong cross-functional collaboration, and expertise with DOORS/DNG, ETM, Windchill, and Cameo. This role emphasizes safety, traceability, and robust system integration.

Qualifications

Minimum of a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial engineering, or a similar technical field.
5+ years of systems engineering experience with progression in scope and complexity.
Expertise across the full SE development cycle (concept, requirements, design, analysis, integration, safety, configuration management, verification and test).
Familiarity with two or more related functional areas (mechanical, fluids, tanks, structures, avionics, engines, GNC, etc.).
Advanced capability in SE tools (DOORS/DNG, ETM, Windchill, Cameo).
Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and drive multi subsystem integration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support system engineering processes across program levels, from concept to verification.
Ensure consistent implementation of SE practices and configurations.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams for system solutions.
Contribute to reports, reviews, and health metrics to track program health.
