Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Sr Operations & Integration Engineer to support the development and operations of New Glenn. You will be the authority on subsystem CONOPS, architecture, components, software and integrated testing.

Collaborate across design, manufacturing, and operations to achieve seamless system integration and provide actionable recommendations from test data. The role requires a BS in engineering, 6+ years of mechanical systems experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field)
• 6+ years of proven experience with mechanical systems
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation
• Author operations documents defining testing requirements, lifecycle, maintenance, and interfaces
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams for seamless integration
• Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 subsystems
• Provide real-time on-console support for tests, launch and recovery operations
• Analyze test data and provide actionable design improvement recommendations
• Support failure analysis and corrective action implementation
