Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II in Andover, MA to plan, execute, and perform data analysis for complex integration and verification test events. You will work on cutting‑edge missile defense technologies in a collaborative environment and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.
• Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or system testing.

Responsibilities

• Support Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration activities, and verification in both simulated and real‑world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues both in real time and through detailed analysis and debugging.
• Modeling and Analysis: Utilize and create modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Collaborate: Work with a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to PMO and SI&T leadership.
• Support On‑Site Missions and Test Events: Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations, including local RTX facilities, test sites, or to lead range support teams from Andover.
