Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Production Services team. The role focuses on engineering and maintaining production environments across large-scale servers, both bare metal and virtual, in our internal datacenters.

Ideal candidates bring strong Linux expertise, experience with OpenStack/MaaS and Kubernetes, and a proven ability to automate and maintain complex systems in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex technical systems architecture and recommend improvements
• Manage Linux systems for thousands of bare metal servers and VMs
• Troubleshoot server hardware issues
• Support large-scale production deployments within datacenters
• Write scripts in Python/Perl/PHP/JavaScript/Go for automation and monitoring
• Participate in on-call rotations
