RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II for the Fort Wayne, IN site to support radar technology development, testing, and sustainment. You will work with a systems engineering team to define requirements, architecture, and algorithms, collaborating with software teams to ensure proper implementation.

You will analyze radar performance, prototype algorithms, and present results to leadership and customers, while contributing to multiple capability areas and supporting bid activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 2+ years RF/system design experience.
• Experience with radar waveform, signal processing, and algorithm testing is preferred.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsabilités

• Define radar system requirements and design architecture with a systems engineering team.
• Analyze radar performance against requirements to identify gaps and improvements.
• Prototype new or modified algorithms to enhance system capability.
• Present designs and results to peers, leadership, and customers.
• Serve as an SME to agile software teams ensuring correct implementation.
• Support capability areas including signal processing, MBSE tools, and modeling.
• Contribute to bid/proposal labor or material estimates as needed.
• Communicate designs and test outcomes to stakeholders; travel up to 20%.
