Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks Systems Engineer Level 2/3 for its Ocean Springs, MS site. You will support rapid growth in launcher hardware, performing requirements development, system integration, and verification activities for Navy platforms.

Responsibilities include MBSE product development, interface management, DOORS documentation, and preparation of reviews. US citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 2 years relevant work experience or Master’s Degree with 0 years for Level 2.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5 years relevant work experience or Master’s with 3 years for Level 3.
• Experience reading/interpreting technical drawings and interface documents (IO, DOORS, VCRM).
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate system requirements and verify/validate total systems.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications within cost/schedule constraints.
• Create and update system drawings, interfaces, and verification matrices in DOORS.
• Support/lead internal and external reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR).
• Develop MBSE products and state machines for launcher hardware programs.
