Job summary

Kwik Trip, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support and optimize our enterprise server and application environments.

You will work independently and with teams to maintain infrastructure, resolve system issues, and drive key IT initiatives across the organization. You will design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Active Directory environments, manage Microsoft 365 services, and participate in upgrades, migrations, and incident response following ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with server/infrastructure and virtual platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and support enterprise server/app environments.
• Install and optimize servers in a virtualized infrastructure.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Provide second-level support for escalated incidents.
• Design and manage Active Directory forests and domains.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online).
• Use ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change management tools.
• Monitor performance for reliability, availability, scalability.
• Ensure security policy compliance.
• Investigate hardware/software issues promptly.
• Research and recommend hardware/software solutions.
