Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, a leading LTL carrier, is seeking a full-time IT professional to support and maintain its systems infrastructure across hardware and software. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and user support within a large logistics network.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience with server technologies, strong written and verbal communication, and hands-on familiarity with cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), storage, and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with server technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and storage/virtualization.
• Strong collaboration and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain systems infrastructure including hardware and software.
• Monitor systems performance and recommend changes and upgrades.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to assist with systems design.
• Assist administrators in the implementation of systems infrastructure.
• Provide support and assistance to OD users for systems needs.
• Assist with remediation of security findings related to identity platforms.
