Job summary

iT1, a leading national technology solution provider headquartered in Tempe, AZ, seeks a Systems Engineer II to join the team on the 2nd shift. You will monitor, respond to incidents, administer Windows Server and Azure, and support VMware/Hyper-V environments while serving as a technical escalation point for other teams.

You will maintain documentation, assets, and procedures, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and lead troubleshooting efforts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of infrastructure, systems, networking experience in managed services.
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience handling alerts through escalation, resolution, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts, events, and monitoring-system notifications.
• Provide incident response, systems administration, and network troubleshooting.
• Escalation management, documentation, and operational support per company standards.
• Act as escalation point for other teams and participate in major incident response.
• Maintain diagrams, documentation, procedures, and asset information; use PowerShell to automate tasks.
