Job summary

iT1, a leading national technology solution provider, seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer II in Tempe, AZ, to deliver proactive, secure, and standardized operational support for customer environments in 24x7 Managed Services. You will administer Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid infrastructure with emphasis on availability, automation, and governance.

You will escalate complex incidents, drive improvements, and contribute to policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality operational support for Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Escalation support for incidents, service requests, and problems.
• Monitor health, availability, capacity, and performance of cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Azure resources: VMs, Azure Virtual Desktop, storage, networking, identity.
• Implement monitoring, patching, backup, and recovery processes.
• Document environments, processes, and procedures with accuracy.
• Script or automate using PowerShell or Azure CLI; IaC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to translate technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, secure, and standardized operational support.
• Act as escalation resource for complex incidents and drive resolution.
• Partner with security, service desk, and engineering teams for remediation and improvements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for customer environments.
