Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer I to support requirements engineering, MBSE, and system integration tasks under supervision. You will assist in analysis, planning, and lifecycle activities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have a related bachelor's degree and up to 2 years of experience, with familiarity in DOORS or MATLAB and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Hybrid work and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Basic understanding of modeling and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE tasks under supervision.
• Support system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management.
• Contribute to architecture/design development and lifecycle monitoring.
• Participate in lifecycle management activities.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
