Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Dayton, OH is seeking a Systems Engineer I to contribute to requirements engineering, system integration, and MBSE under supervision. You will assist in V&V, risk management, and architecture design, with opportunities to grow in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

A Secret clearance is required to be considered for this role, and the team works on advanced defense and aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• 0–2+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Familiarity with MBSE, requirements management, and system modeling tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements engineering, system integration, V&V, and MBSE tasks.
• Support system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management under supervision.
• Contribute to architecture/design development and lifecycle monitoring.
• Participate in lifecycle management activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and collaborate.
