Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer I in Phoenix, AZ to support the HUD system design from concept through production. You will work with senior engineers to define requirements, assist in system design, perform hardware/software integration, and help with installation and certification activities in a hybrid work environment.
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this role emphasizes hands-on testing, system simulations, safety analyses, and staying current with industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as STEM.
- 0-2 years of systems engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must be a US person per export control laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and development of HUD system and software.
- Perform testing and validation for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to contribute to the design process.
- Develop system simulations in a lab environment.
- Support safety analysis and certification activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Provide technical support to hardware engineering teams.
