Job summary
Torch Technologies is seeking an analytical Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency modeling and simulation team in Huntsville, AL. You will analyze data, define system architectures, and collaborate across software, test, and analysis groups to improve automation and information management.
Ideal candidates will have DoD experience, an active Secret clearance, and strong communication for presenting findings to leadership.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field as listed.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) tools and methodologies.
- Strong data analytics, reporting, and technical writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze test and evaluation criteria and data for MDA modeling & simulation.
- Define architecture and requirements for an integrated analysis framework.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to modernize workflows.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including software engineers and data analysts.
- Develop requirements for automation tools for asset allocation, planning, and travel coordination.
- Document architectures, methodologies, and evaluation results.
