Qualifications

• 4+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Cisco UCS administration, lifecycle management, firmware maintenance, capacity planning, and operational support.
• Experience administering enterprise virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, maintain, and improve enterprise infrastructure services including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and identity management.
• Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including Cisco UCS, Active Directory, storage, Windows Server, and network infrastructure.
• Support deployment and administration of networking solutions including routing, switching, segmentation, and secure communications across classified environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, engineering best practices, and system documentation.
• Participate in modernization efforts, technology refresh projects, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Administer storage platforms and support backup, disaster recovery, replication, and capacity planning.
• Manage enterprise identity and authentication services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, firmware updates, patching, maintenance actions, and approved changes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel on vulnerability remediation, STIGs, hardening, and compliance.
• Evaluate technologies and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
