Revolutional seeks a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to manage and secure enterprise infrastructure in Washington, DC on-site. You will lead Windows Server/AD services, virtualization via VMware ESXi, and automation with PowerShell, aligning with security standards for federal environments.

The role emphasizes PKI management, IAM, and cloud integration with AWS/Azure, while operating in a stringent, on-site security posture and rapid-change windows.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility or cross-over-eligible.
• Bachelor’s in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of server administration experience.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for complex administration and automation.
• Extensive experience with virtualization platforms (ESXi, Hyper-V, or KVM), including Horizon Remote Assistance.
• Experience with VDI deployments.
• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds for enterprise IT monitoring.
• Experience with Active Directory in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Windows Server/AD services across production enclaves with high availability.
• Design and manage enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi).
• Automate deployment and maintenance using PowerShell and IaC principles.
• Architect and manage PKI and certificate lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across networking, identity, and apps.
• Document SOPs and participate in change windows and on-call rotation.
• Contribute to cloud strategy and AWS/Azure integration.
• Ensure systems comply with STIG/NIST security requirements.
