Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage the operation, administration, and maintenance of both physical and virtual server environments. You will implement patch strategies, apply STIG hardening, and address vulnerabilities to keep systems secure and compliant.

You will also oversee backup/recovery processes, storage allocation, and restoration testing while ensuring optimal performance and security across server environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V)
• Experience with vulnerability management and patch deployment
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and best practices
• Exposure to database administration, performance tuning, and restoration testing
• Background in cybersecurity practices, backup operations, and DR planning

Responsibilities

• Perform OA&M for physical and virtual servers and virtualization infrastructure.
