Det-Tronics is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical design for new development and sustaining products in a high‑tech, industrial safety setting. You will drive architecture, define requirements, and ensure robust verification and testing across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 5+ years in electro‑mechanical design, with Creo/Windchill (SolidWorks) experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience, including 3+ years in electro-mechanical product development.
• Experience with Creo and Windchill; SolidWorks experience is relevant.
• US citizenship, green card, or permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design for NPD and sustaining programs across their lifecycle.
• Define mechanical architecture and execute design with manufacturability and safety in mind.
• Collaborate on requirements, risk analyses, reviews, and product deliverables.
• Develop verification plans and testing standards; ensure traceability from requirements to tests.
• Work with approvals and test teams to execute mechanical tests and analyses.
