As a team member, you'll address complex physics and engineering challenges by integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on an accelerated schedule, aiming to deliver a hypersonic operational prototype to the Warfighter.

Lockheed Martin seeks a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join the Systems Design and Integration Team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and releasing requirements specifications, including defining the requirements and verification baseline.
2. Establishing system architecture and Concept of Operations (CONOPS), performing system-level design and decomposition into requirements.
3. Conducting system analysis, interface definition, and management/execution.
4. Participating in studies and system trades for capability enhancements.
5. Developing plans to onboard new mission capabilities while safeguarding the primary mission.
6. Participating in and coordinating design reviews and technical product reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in at least one Systems Integration function, such as:
• System trade studies and modeling
• Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
• System Integration, Testing, and Verification
• Test planning and execution, understanding interdependencies
• Design reviews and system verification

Eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Desired Skills:

• Over 2 years of experience with Hypersonic Programs.
• Over 3 years in architecture design, development, integration, and testing of space, missile, and launch systems from component to system level.
• Experience in requirements specifications, verification, decomposition, and tools.
• Ensuring hardware/software compatibility throughout the full program lifecycle.
• Interaction with hardware and software developers to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrated systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Active Secret security clearance.
