Job Overview

BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Systems Design Engineer. This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The typical workday is 8 hours, scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Government Holidays. Core hours (9am to 3pm) are covered.

The Systems Design Engineer works closely with Agile teams to design and refine system architectures based on user feedback. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements and translating them into system designs.

Responsibilities:

• Design application architecture, databases, and interfaces iteratively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure alignment with user needs.
• Participate in sprint reviews to refine system designs based on feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing IT systems in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree.
