Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Uncrewed Systems (UxS) division seeks a Systems Engineer to develop, integrate, test, and field autonomous maritime vehicles. You will apply strong systems engineering, integration and test experience in a multi-disciplinary team to meet mission needs.

Applicants must be capable of obtaining a government clearance and have experience translating requirements into hardware/software specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; experience varies by level.
• Master's degree preferred for higher levels; related field.
• PhD/JD in related field allowed at higher levels; advanced experience.
• High School Diploma with substantial relevant experience considered for entry level.

Responsibilities

• Perform system analyses from concept to disposal for unmanned vehicles and support tech.
• Convert customer or product requirements into total system solutions within cost/schedule constraints.
