Qualifications

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Robotics Engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on embedded software programming in C++ and Python.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
• Able to function effectively in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions.
• Collaborates with equipment designers and hardware engineers in planning, design, development, and utilization of software.
• Determines user needs and analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems in program intent and input/output requirements.
• Prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers, assemblers, and utility programs.
• Ensures software standards are met.
