Job summary

Mission Technologies in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage day-to-day operations, perform system integration, and provide 24/7 watch support. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates willing to move.

You will lead technical analyses, ensure requirements translate into hardware/software specs, and maintain rigorous safety practices while supporting mission-critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 3 years with a master's in related field; or HS diploma/equivalent with 9 years of experience.
• Background in Electronic Maintenance, Information Systems or Telecommunication disciplines.
• Experience maintaining electronic equipment; preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to apply safety procedures when handling equipment.
• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, integrate, verify and validate total systems within constraints of time and cost.
• Translate requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Provide technical support for installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Draft watch bills and support operational requirements.
• Oversee safety procedures as Power Control Station/Power Safety Officer.
• Communicate changes to chain of command and maintain system configuration.
• Coordinate with agencies to maximize readiness and minimize downtime.
