Peraton is seeking a systems engineer to monitor health, troubleshoot, maintain storage, and collaborate across hardware, network, and infrastructure teams. The role includes rotating after-hours on-call and ensuring security requirements are met.

You will manage Linux-based systems, containerized apps, and NoSQL environments, with focus on large clusters (>400 nodes) and cloud workloads in AWS, onsite at customer facilities in the US Virginian region.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Active Security+ Certification is required.
• Experience managing systems in AWS environments.
• Experience with large clusters and containerized apps.
• Experience with Linux-based hardware platforms.
• Ability to work with OpenSource NoSQL products.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor system health and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintain storage systems and interfaces with hardware, network, and infra teams.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotation basis.
• Ensure system security requirements are satisfied.
• Create and maintain system scripts; patch and upgrade systems.
• Administer user accounts.
