Job summary

SageCor Solutions, serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, is seeking an SE3 candidate to execute end-to-end system engineering tasks for high performance computing and large data analytics.

The position requires TS/SCI with polygraph, strong dataflow planning, independent problem solving, and documentation using Confluence and Jira. A range of education paths are accepted, including HS diploma with experience, bachelor's, master's, or PhD, with corresponding years of SE

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph Required.

Required Experience:

• A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.
• A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.
• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.

The SE3 candidate will be able to execute the following core tasks:

• Autonomous Dataflow Plan Engineering: Synthesize high-level operational requirements into detailed, end-to-end dataflow plans - defining ingest points, transformation steps, security/compliance boundary crossings, and destination endpoints.
• Independent Problem Solution: Analyze and resolve complex dataflow routing issues where standardized documentation or procedures are insufficient or non-existent.
• Rapid Domain Acquisition: Independently research, analyze, and master new or unfamiliar systems and tools to address emerging operational needs.
• SOP Adaptation and Knowledge Capture: Leverage existing baseline documentation as a preliminary guide, while synthesizing tailor-made solutions into formal, repeatable procedures and technical recommendations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Tooling and Workflow Tracking: Familiarity with knowledge management and ticketing tools such as Confluence and Jira. The candidate will leverage these tools to track team progress, identify and address documentation gaps, and maintain comprehensive records of dataflows, workflows, and routing anomalies.
