Job summary

SageCor Solutions is expanding its Maryland footprint, delivering high‑end engineering services and full lifecycle system engineering across federal and commercial programs. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required, with emphasis on AI and data analytics capabilities.

The role requires coordinating design efforts, eliciting requirements, and serving as a technical liaison between customers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and AWS.
• Experience eliciting and documenting functional and technical requirements.
• Acting as liaison between customers and the development team, to manage expectations.
• Articulating intricate technical details to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment.
• Serve as a technical liaison with cross-functional teams including system engineers and developers.
• Present and discuss AI approaches, tradeoffs, and implications with stakeholders.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements to improve existing systems.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph Required.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
• Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
• Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
• Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Desired experience includes

• Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture
• Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems
